Alabama native, Waffle House enthusiast and stand-up comedian Derrick Stroup is not your average slow talking Southerner. With the cadence of an angry auctioneer, he locks people in with his detailed stories and over the top energy. Derrick can be seen at the world-famous Comedy Cellar in New York City along with headlining clubs all across the country.

In 2025, he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He also recently filmed his debut comedy special at the Lyric Theatre in Birmingham, AL. He is set to appear in the upcoming Nate Bargatze film “The Breadwinner.” Derrick continues to tour alongside national headliners Bert Kreischer, Larry the Cable Guy, John Crist, and Nate Bargatze.

Leslie Bohl Ojeda is embracing an inspiring new chapter as the wife and partner of San Antonio business leader Richard Ojeda. Together, they are deeply involved in philanthropy, supporting their community through numerous charitable initiatives. Leslie also lends her expertise as marketing director for the Ojeda Foundation, which champions local San Antonio charities, advances cancer research, and funds college scholarships for deserving students.

Through Leslie Bohl Media, she provides digital marketing and public relations services, drawing on nearly 30 years of experience as a trusted television news anchor, reporter, and lifestyle host for NBC stations in San Antonio and Florida.

A proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where her passion for storytelling first took shape, Leslie holds two bachelor’s degrees and has earned recognition for her impactful medical reporting and anchoring. Beyond the newsroom, she has helped raise millions of dollars through her involvement in more than a hundred fundraising events.

When she’s not working, Leslie loves traveling, spending time with family and friends, studying Spanish, and doting on her tiny chihuahua mix, Roo. She’s also the proud mother of two grown daughters who share her zest for life and compassion for others.
