Recognizing that a child’s needs are best met in a family environment, Boysville strengthens the lives of children by providing a continuum of services that foster healing and promote the well-being of children.
Emergency Shelter for children between the ages of infancy to 17, including psychological, medical, and academic assessment.
Residential Care for children 5 to18 who are unable to live at home due to abuse, neglect or family disruption.
Foster Care for large siblings groups between the ages of infancy to 17, placed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
Transitional Living Services to help our residents grow into responsible adults.
Therapeutic Intervention for all residents to include crisis counseling, individual, group and family counseling
Behavior Management utilizes the most desirable and effective means of teaching appropriate behavior through interventions that enable the child to evaluate their behavior and understand appropriate mechanisms to use in relationships to the world outside of themselves.
Compensatory Education, an important component at Boysville, to include mentoring, study hall, summer school and regular process monitoring.
Health Care to include medical, dental, orthodontic, optometry and emergency services.
Recreational Activities / Leadership Development to include 4-H, Camp Wildbeast, summer camps, scouting, youth sports and others.
Appropriate referral for children who require a higher level of supervision.
